What are the benefits of sponsoring?

Staging the Urdd National Eisteddfod costs £1.2 million.

The money is raised through:

• Local appeal committees
• Entrance tickets
• Local Authorities
• The Welsh Language Board
• Selling broadcasting rights
• Sponsors from the corporate and business sector

The Eisteddfod is only made possible by working in partnership with a variety of organisations, and
the Eisteddfod depends heavily on the support of its sponsors - large and small. We always aim to
provide value for money for our sponsors.

Sponsors benefit by: Being associated with a successful festival Branding and publicity opportunities Being seen to be supporting activities within communities Branding on the Eisteddfod field, and on activities which are broadcast Co-operation to ensure the best publicity for the sponsorship

The benefits to sponsors can include the following:

• Company logo in the official programme
• Company name announced from stage
• Tickets to the Eisteddfod and to a reception
• Name on television board behind interviewing area
• Unit on the field
