Urdd Gobaith Cymru
ADJUDICATING THE
ART, DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY COMPETITIONS
A collection of Art, Design and
Technology work by hundreds of children and young people from all
over Wales will be adjudicated nationally on 11,12 and 13 April at
Llysfasi College, Ruthin.
The work has already been
adjudicated at local and regional level with the winning entries
going forward for adjudication at national level.
An exhibition of the winning
entries at national level will be on display in the Art, Design and
Technology Pavilion at the Urdd Gobaith Cymru National Eisteddfod at
the end of May.
The Art, Design and Technology
Medal will be presented on the Monday of the Eisteddfod and the
Medal is sponsored this year by Ifor Williams Trailers Ltd.
Siân Eirian, Urdd Gobaith Cymru’s
Director of the Eisteddfod and the Arts said:
“The Urdd prides itself on
developing artistic talents through the medium of Art, Design and
Technology. Developing creative skills is as important as all the
other talents the Urdd nurtures. The Urdd has over sixty Art, Design
and Technology competitions and the work is of an incredibly high
standard every year.”
